Job Title: Live in Care Assistant Duties: 

 

– Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

 – Assist with meal preparation and feeding 

– Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals 

– Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel 

– Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up living spaces 

– Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients 

– Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed

 

Qualifications:

– Degree or equivalent

– Previous experience in care giving or a related field is preferred but not required

– Compassionate and patient demeanour

– Excellent communication skills

– Ability to work independently and follow instructions

– Reliable transportation to travel to client locations

– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
